🎮 How to Play

Buraco is a thrilling card game blending Rummy and Canasta mechanics. Players aim to form melds (sets or runs of 3+ cards) and discard their hand first or score the most points. Each game starts with 11 cards dealt per player. Draw from the stock or discard pile, then meld cards onto the table or add to existing melds. Jokers and 2s act as wild cards. Complete a seven-card meld (a "Buraco") for bonus points. The round ends when a player discards their last card or the stock runs out.

• Desktop: Use your mouse to click and drag cards. Right-click to discard or meld.
• Mobile/Touchscreen: Tap to select cards, swipe to move them, and double-tap to discard or meld.
• Keyboard Shortcuts (Desktop): Press Spacebar to draw from the stock, Enter to confirm melds, and D to discard.
• Game Menu: Access settings, rules, and restart options via the gear icon (top-right corner).

🎯 Objectives

Your goal is to outscore opponents by forming melds and completing Buraco bonuses (seven-card melds). Short-term, focus on creating small melds to reduce your hand. Long-term, strategize to block opponents by holding key cards or forcing them to draw from the stock. Points are tallied based on melded cards (face cards = 10, Aces = 15, wild cards = 20). Win by exhausting your hand first or having the highest score when the stock depletes.
