Welcome to Crack the Code! Your mission is to decipher a secret color sequence. Start each round by placing your guess using the colored pegs. After submitting, you'll receive feedback: a black peg means a correct color in the correct position, and a white peg means a correct color in the wrong position. Use this clue system to logically deduce the code. You only have five attempts in Hard mode (eight in Easy), so think carefully! Analyze the feedback after each try to refine your strategy and crack the code before your guesses run out.
This game is played entirely with the mouse or touch controls for a seamless experience.
• Primary Control: Click or tap on a peg in your current guess row to change its color. A circular selector will appear.
• Color Selection: Click or tap on your desired color from the palette at the bottom of the screen to assign it to the selected peg.
• Submitting a Guess: Click or tap the "Submit Guess" button to lock in your current row and receive feedback.
• Clearing a Guess: Click or tap the "Clear Row" button to reset all pegs in your current active guess row to empty.
• Game Controls: Use the buttons on the screen to toggle game modes (Easy/Hard) or restart a new game.
