š® How to Play
International Draughts is a strategic twist on classic checkers, played on a 10x10 board. Each player starts with 20 pieces placed on dark squares. Pieces move diagonally forward one space. To capture an opponentās piece, jump over it to an empty squareāmultiple jumps in one turn are allowed! Crowned kings (earned by reaching the opponentās back row) can move and capture backward. The game ends when one player captures all opposing pieces or blocks them from moving. Master tactical positioning and forced captures to dominate!
š¹ļø Controls
⢠Mouse (Desktop): Click and drag pieces to move.
⢠Touchscreen (Mobile): Tap a piece, then tap the destination square.
⢠Keyboard Shortcuts (Optional): Use arrow keys to highlight pieces, then press Enter to select/move.
⢠Undo/Redo: Look for on-screen buttons to reverse moves (if supported).
⢠Menu Navigation: Esc or tap the menu icon to pause or adjust settings.
šÆ Objectives
Your goal is to outmaneuver your opponent by capturing all their pieces or blocking their moves. Short-term, focus on advancing pieces to create kings and force captures. Long-term, control the boardās center to limit enemy options. Victory requires foresightāsacrifice weaker pieces to set up multi-capture chains or trap opponents. Draws occur if no captures are possible after 40 consecutive king moves.
